    Hi folks,

I have read around and seen many different replies to similar question but nothing concrete

I have a workstation 8770w which currently has an AMD Firepro M4000.GPU

I would really like to upgrade this even though it's pretty decent for most limited games.

I can't anything with a definitive answer about which card I can use, I obtained the user manual but it doesn't even have my current card listed, see below:

Graphics board (includes replacement thermal material):
    AMD FirePro M5950 XT-GL 1GB GDDR5 (DP 1.2 and Eyefinity Plus support)
    689279-001
    NVIDIA Quadro 3000M, N14E-Q1 2GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory
    689280-001
    NVIDIA Quadro 4000M, N14E-Q3 2GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory
    689281-001
    NVIDIA Quadro 5010M, N14E-Q5 4GB dedicated GDDR5 video memory

So I am thinking ok the Quardo 5010M sounds good but it's TDR is 100 watts and my current GPU is only 33 watts.

I have opened up my workstation and can see the GPU would come out fine but stopped there : :p

    Motherboard:
    Model 176C KBC Version 50.1F
    Chipset Ivy Bridge

    Bios ver: 681av ver. F .61
    Date 04/07/015

Last words, would I see a huge increase in perform with this card or if there another you could suggest that wouldn't be blocked by this HP Whitelist I hear so much about?

    Many thanks in advance

    Michael
