had my dv6tse sent back to HP for a keyboard replacement, clearly stated that the problem is keyboard flex and sagged in middle and requested for a keyboard replacement. when i check the repair status it said "HP is trying to contact you....blah blah" but i never received a single phone call or email, had to call them up and check what's going on, the rep told me that they had ran a system and device check and couldn't find any problem (! I already told them the problem was the flex keyboard, not system or device malfunction), so i re-instructed the agent what the problem is and the he promised me that they will have it fixed. two days later, a package arrived, I opened it and notice my laptop was not even wrap in a plastic bag, find few new light scratches on the casing, opened the lid and VOILA! the lovely same keyboard untouched whatsoever! neither fixed nor replaced, so i basically spent $15 overnight shipping and wasted an entire week for nothing! i can't afford to waste anymore time with HP and i can't even return it since i need the computer to catch up my work assignments accumulated in a whole week.

if you wonder how bad the keyboard flexes, here a video and mine is similar to it: (not my video i do not own any copyright..)

YouTube - HP Envy 17 keyboard flex

if everyone's HP laptop is like that i have none to say, i used many laptops before (C90s, Msi wind, Dell E6400, X200s, T410, Macbook Pro 13) and none of them had such a bad keyboard like this one

I hope yours is worse than that, that guy is trying to get his to flex and looks like he's trying to push his finger right through the dang keyboard.

Be careful with HP support...cause you are pretty much on your own after purchase.

I spent 3 days with them on my wireless card to find out, that they never supported it in the first place despite what the HP shopping says.

They got me on a technicality, the actual true specification is on the service manual but not on site technical specification.

At least I managed to sell off my replacement card, which is the same type I have, for 20 bucks.

If your flex is as bad as that one your use being petty nobody pushes their keyboard that hard. Deal with it. As long as your computer is working fine your body will adjust to the keyboard
