What deals do they have exactly?
-
...bump. I heard there was a 10% off thing, is that true?
-
Just go through an order and it will tell you the discounts before you buy.
I didn't think it was the good of a deal. I was able to buy a dm4t cheaper using a $300 coupon then I would have using the discount. -
Well, is the discount around $100?
-
Seriously, I need to know how much HP Academy saves on the Dv6zse, please.

I'm in highschool, so I need my dad to sign up, him being an Alumus.
It would be nice to know before hand how much I save, though. -
I can't tell you... You need to go through the order it was a green tag that HPA price beside it. It might be around $100

The base price is 1027.99 - $150 instant rebate - $61.68 discount = $816.13. I would definitely recommend spending $20 to upgrade to the N930, it is significantly better than the P920

Ouch, it puts me over $900. My dad wants it to be under..

You could always save money by foregoing Office and Norton. OpenOffice is a great, free productivity suite that has pretty much everything Home and Student has and there are great free alternatives to Norton, like MSE and Avast.

I got my DV4i through the HP Academy and saved $150 there and found a $200 stackable coupon through Retailmenot.com that got me a deal I could not pass up! All you need to know your schools 4 or 5 digit id code# to register for that deal. I did some custom stuff (CPU and RAM) and still got it in about a week! Very quick!

HP Student discount is Available to Highschool Students. Got to HP Academy and click on Sign up and follow the directions...
The discount will range from 5% (on really basic PCs) all the way up to 15% off. Also check the HP Academy sites banners for Stackable Coupons... The site is updated weekly with special deals and sometimes coupons...
Keep in mind most of those $300 off coupons you see on the web don't combine with instant rebates... so if a PC has a $150 instant rebate than the coupon is really only worth $150... If you are buying a nice PC a lot of time that HP Academy Student Discount will save you more even without a coupon... -
It's pretty much 10% off across the board.
-
The best way to determine your discount is going through the order process. You can sign up for the program here: HP Academy - HP Official Store - Sign Up Today: Student discount and teacher discounts on Laptops, Notebooks, Desktops, Printers, Digital Cameras, Handhelds, Touchpad and more The discount on some models are more profound than others. I'd either take abaddon4180 up on his offer or just go to the site and configure yourself to know. Doesn't take very long.
