So I was sitting down using my desktop and then I noticed my notebook's battery light started to light on and then it turned off. It did this for a while every few minutes. So I decided to boot my notebook and check it out. Did a search on the forums for the hp battery test and ran the program. It's showing 95%, Replace battery not under warranty =(. So what should I do.

I use to take my battery out when I was using the AC but I haven't done it lately. I guess I have to start doing that right? 95% seems to be my maximum charge.

hi there, i have hp pavilion dv 2535ea, yesterday i turned my notebook off with 100% charge , i use high performance setting. Next day i turned my notebook on after 16 hrs on battery and it shows 95% charge , when i plug in my AC power it says (95% plugged in and charging). Also the Hp battery check indicates good battery health.
Also if i boot with AC plugged in it says 100 % charged instead of booting with battery.
Is this oK, does vista booting with battery take 5% charge ?

Both of you, do a full discharge/charge cycle. Then read the battery guide.
