So I formatted my computer, and I have some questions on programs that are not installed.
I left out the following:
EN4cNB (evernote)
HPClientServices
HPCM4 (connection manager)
HPDOC_dv6 (documentation)
HPOSD (on screen display)
HPPM (power manager)
HPQL (quick launch)
HPSF (support assistant)
InetSec (norton )
RoxCN (Roxio)
SVD (symantic )
WinLive (live essentials)
Ok so just from compiling that list, I guess I could try to install the connection manager and that may solve my problem, but I'll ask anyway if any of those other programs are worth installing. I just got a razer Oriachi, and found out that my bluetooth isn't working at all.
Also can anyone tell me what Intel My Wi-Fi technology does? It is always disabled unless I enable the 2nd wireless connection in my adapters. I usually disable all the adapters except for the one that I am activly using, and so it is usually disabled.... What is it good for?
Thanks.

Enabling PAN (Personal Area Network) with the Wifi. Since you asked, most likely you don't use it. It is optional to install.
Basically used to switch your wifi to AP mode or to use WiDi. -
Hmm ok. Well I installed the HP connection manager, and it did nothing to help with my bluetooth problem.
I know that my mouse is working, because my phone can see it when it is discoverable, but my laptop cannot see either of them. -
I'd still like info on those apps, I don't have coolsense for example, is it worth getting?
But I'm posting because I solved my main problem. I had followed a guide on here about stopping startup processes, I followed the completely safe version and it had me disable bluetooth support lol. Anyways I just reenabled it.
On another note, a guy on here was complaining about simplepass blinking. I had the same problem after I installed hpcm, some bluetooth drivers, and enabled all of my internet adapters, after uninstalling those things it went away, maybe it can help. -
My WiFi will essentially allow you to use your notebook as an "access point" for other wireless devices. Phones, gamesystems, other notebook PC's, printers, etc...
Ever just consider doing a minimal system install? It would alleviate all the "bloat" while keeping on essential HP software and drivers specific for the notebook. Your system is more than adequate for handling any startup processes HP might throw at it. You wouldn't see any sort of performace reduction with installing a few of those HP apps. -
I'm sure the minimal system install would install all of those HP, if I wanted them I could just install them myself.
haha I guess a hobby of mine is just having the least. I'd like coolsense, but not if it installs a whole bunch of other random stuff that I don't need. -
Reinstall the bluetooth drivers. The same thing happened to myself and my friend. We both needed to install the drivers from the SWSETUP folder on C:\
