This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP CTO DV9000z shipped MUCH faster than promised

    I bought a customized-to-order dv9000z November 10th, and they promised to ship it by November 29th.
    Today's the 16th, and FedEx has already picked it up (in Shanghai, China).

    Let's hope the laptop is as good (and as fast) as the order fulfillment... :)

    Yeah, that's usual with HP.

    They do that to cover themselves so they don't end up with delays if there is a problem.

    i received my DV6000T within 8 days. Ordered on Oct. 12 (morning), FedEx delivered on the 20th. Sweet....
