I have used HP chat on three seperate occassions and each time I have had great experiences, with great courteous and knowledgable staff. I would recommend this service to anyone, and it usually takes less time than calling them up. So for all of you who are shy when it comes to talking on the phone especially when you are trying to work out a deal then by all means use chat. I was able to obtain an OS disk free of charge instead of the normal $10. Being polite as you can gets you everything. :)

Nice, thanks for the advice. I have an HP laptop and will note this if I have any future issues (hopefully not) or perhaps future inquiries regarding new hardware (excited for that day to come sometime). :)

EDIT: Ironically I just used the online chat service to find out about a printer being in stock, and I had my answer within 30 seconds and did it from work without using the phone. I immediately was connected to a representative too. I highly recommend this service if you have questions for HP.

I have used HP chat as well. They really do a good job. I am shy when it comes to talking on the phone so it is pretty nice.

    Same here.

Their chat service was really good and quick. Next time, if I have any other problems, I would go chat service over phone service

Just to let you know that Dell Chat works very well too. I just ordered another Windows XP disc for my parents who never recieved theirs. Dell Chat is right up there with HP Chat.
