    I have HP Compaq 6710b

    and have few questions;

    1. When I have installed Vista for the first time it asked me do I want 32 or 64 bit version, and a have choose 32 bit. Now if I run system restore again will I get the same option? Because I want 64bit version! And I have created recovery DVD-s (2), and question i same for THEM if I delete recovery partition!?!?

    2. I was thinking to downgrade to XP, now my question is should I install 64 or 32 bit version? I need it for graphic and modeling and video editing, which is better to use?

    3. If I downgrade to XP can I create recovery DVD for it?
    That when I want to install vista or XP, I don't have to install drivers separately :)

    4. I can't get my S-video out to work on my TV. I shut down my notebook and turn it on and it doesn't show TV? Tried everything and nothing?

    THANKS!!!!!!

    I just purchased a 6710b and the config was Windows Vista Business/Ultimate with the option to load XP on initial startup. When I turned it on it went to the Vista Ultimate version without prompting for 32/64 bit software. I have the restore dvd's for the vista, do you have them for xp? And when you pick the 32/64 selection the opposite is deleted. Let me know.
