This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    anyone have this model notebook? I'm thinking of picking one up for cheap.

    It's usage will be very basic: music playback, email, word processing, and the occasional dvd.

    Anyone's thoughts on the machine? Didn't see a review on this site, so wouldn't mind getting some user input

    It not as well build as it more expensive 8510p/w counterpart but it should be perfect for you needs :) ThinkPad R61 is a good option too :)
