    HP Compaq 6720 issue

    I have a HP Compaq 6720 with Windows XP installed. It didn't come with an OS.

    The issue is that I cannot change the screen brightness from Fn + brightness increase or decrease keys. In this case they are Fn + F7 and F8.

    Any ideas?

    Yep, not having Quick Launch would do it. When my quick launch buttons mysteriously stopped working one day, so did the brightness controls.

    The QuickLaunch drivers are available from HP's website.

    I haven't installed them. The laptop had dos so it didn't come with anything except the manuals and a user guide disc.

    So where can I download these from?
