    HP Compaq 6820S backlight not working

    Hello,

    display cable shortcirtuited and burned itself so I've bought a new one and inverter too. I have picture on panel and I can see that it clearly boots to desktop but backlight is not working.

    I've tried some other panel and inverter and it's still the same problem.

    So what to do now? Buying a new mbo is completely out of question because it's just not worth it. Any other possible solutions and what to check?
