Reading review, I have bought one! In my experience...

    1. It is not silent with comparison to my old IBM!!!

    2. It gets very hot, both palm rest and it gets too hot that you will not be able to work while on you lap (a lap top)

    3. The tracking pointer (a small joystick in the middle of the keyboard) is worst, it simply unusable, does not seem to give feedback like IBM, and also insensitive.

    4. Keyboard layout is not ergonomic, and position of the touch pad is also not ergonomic.

    5. LED indicating many functions are not aligned, having mute LED on, still you will hear the sound. Or, the num lock..

    6. Worst is, having the plug of headphone inserted my sometime do not disable the embedded sound box, you will still hear sound form the laptop. (Solution, restart!!!)

(Please verify yourself... this my experience )
