Hi everybody,I have a Compaq 8710w and I have a very strange problem with the notebook's VGA OUT.
From the 1st day I had connected the laptop with my external monitor (lg 22'')and I used to work there.
The connection was analog (laptop's VGA OUT to 22'' monitor's VGA IN).
For 3 weeks everything worked fine but one day suddenly when I was running 3d applications (games) or when I was watching movies the external monitor showed horizontal lines. It looked like the refresh rate was reduced but in fact it wasn't,it was 60hz as always.
I checked the externals monitor VGA IN with my desktop PC and it was fine,so I assumed that the problem was the laptop's graphics card VGA OUT.
These lines appear when the 3d application or the movie program is checked. For example, I start a game in window mode and when I click to the game's window these lines appear BUT when I click on the desktop area these lines disappear(the game is still running but its window isn't checked).
My laptop's graphics card is a Quadro FX 3600M.
    Can you please help me?
    Sorry for my bad English.
