Thank you flipfire. This should be coming very much handy as new wallpapers have been added. You saved many HP stock wallpaper collectors seeking like a crazy HDD read head throughout the endless posts.

Awesome collection. I formatted the drive on my new Pavilion as soon as a got it (for clean install of Vista) and lost all of the OEM wallpaper. I will even use these on my work laptop, since Dell makes the ugliest wallpaper ever.

 

also came on on dv6700t, more specifically my dv6810us @ 1280x800

 

Yes, you are right, but this wallpaper first came out when HP released the dv2500, dv6500, and dv9500. This is because they changed the imprint finish from wave to radiance. the dv2700, dv6700 and dv9700 was a hardware refresh and still included this wallpaper, so notebooks after the dv x500 series had this wallpaper.

within the thread, people have stunning pictures of their desktops posted. and many include links to great wallpaper sites.

It's not a probelm Lena2, welcome to Notebookreview Forum. That's pretty cool, I guess HP made it for promotional reasons.

 

I didn't know they made so many different ones for all of the different brands, and I liked the ones that came with mines; too bad I forgot to save them when I formatted for 7 but just found them again :x

 

Hello everyone! I'm pretty new here, as you can probably tell.

Anyways.. I was just wondering, i've looked A BUNCH for the special DV7-2170US Wallpapers that came with my DV7-2170US, but can only find the Espresso one! I was using this other really cool one, but it got deleted when I formatted my laptop near days after I got it due to it freezing/hanging-up on Installs of programs and other strange things. Stupid crapware that they put on... I just did a Clean Install with a Non-OEM (Retail) Disc and voila, fixed. I also backed up all of the Drivers and Software before hand, but totally forgot about the wallpapers. I also totally forgot to even make a Backup Recovery Disc before I formatted, so all of the Factory-Shipped stuff is now gone, which is great (except for the wallpapers, of course)!

So.. I was just wondering.. Does anyone have them here? SURELY someone does and I would LOVE IT a bunch if someone posted them here!

I've gotten into the habit of collecting HP walls so if anyone has all of the ones that came with the Espresso and Moonlight designs, I too would be interested in seeing them!

 

Hmm... I guess I never looked at it that close, but I guess that one I posted is the exact same as the Espresso one! My bad! I feel a bit stupid now... I still thought there were more backgrounds than just that one that my laptop came with, though..

Don't feel bad ShadowSlayer, there's so many walls on there that it's hard to see a specific one sometimes.

I'm pretty sure you must have had more, probably around four or so at least. This is just the one that was in all the ads and most associated with that model.

 

Well, any way that SOMEONE could post them here? I know there's gotta be at least one person (probably a lot, actually) who go to this Forum who has them. Or, even if they don't go here, surely someone on here could find someone who does and possibly get them. Please!
