For everyone who wants to change from Vista to XP I have provided a download that contains all of the publicly available drivers.

    http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7G4Q5BJM

I posted about my experiences on my blog and provided this link. So far over 20 people have downloaded the file archive. That's not bad since my blog doesn't get that much traffic. ;) The archive is around 135 meg in size and I hope it helps out anyone who wants to change to XP. My laptop is actually FAST since I switched from Vista to XP. :D

I did this yesterday, and everything is working great. There's an updated Broadcom Wireless Lan driver. Go to HP's site, look for drivers for V6000 series. make sure you pick windows xp.

    Hello,

I'm still having a problem with the audio drivers on my F572US. I installed the Microsoft UAA Audio Bus driver before the Conexant audio driver, but it still says that no media was found. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,
    Chase

You are incredible. I got this laptop for Christmas, and got extremely frustrated when it was so hard to find drivers for XP. This makes everything so much easier. You get an A+.

Panama...you are the man...I love you dude....I officially hate Vista after this, I gave it a try for a couple of months and my god I hope they support XP for the next 5 years or so....I know my way around desktops, this was my first laptop and it didn't come with an XP option so I thought I'd try it out....memory hogging eye candy junk....xp with pretty add-ons....so I did my google homework and found this thread, downloaded your drivers and the whole format and reinstall barely took an hour....said goodbye to the restoration partition as well....it runs so much faster its like I added another gig of ram......and I registered at this forum to thank you from saving me the trouble I know I would have found trying to get everything XP capable...vista sucks....really sucks.......thanks Panama!

I'm having some trouble with this and wondering if anyone else seeing the same. When my machine goes to screensaver, sometimes when I move the cursor the screen goes crazy and I have to reboot. This happens every day, but not ever time that it goes to screensaver.

    Thanks!

Man, this is the gift that keeps on giving. :) I was so tired of my wife complaining about her laptop and tracing issues back to Vista. I couldn't take it any more, when I come home I don't want to spend my night troubleshooting issues, I just wanted to relax. Bing, bang, boom. Wiped Vista, installed XP used the drivers you supplied and now PEACE. You da man...

complicatedbull: I had the similar trouble today whiling using the latest Nvida graphics driver Panama Jack provided. Then I uninstalled the new driver and installed the old version driver. It seems works well now.

To all: I had another trouble with the touchpad. I typed a lots words on email and those words are deleted randomly for no reason. I found it maybe the problem of touchpad. Then I installed the HP synaptics touchpad driver from HP website. No this kind of trouble anymore! :D

Last: Thanks for Panama Jack and all!
