    HP Compaq Presario CQ60 having power problem

    My HP Compaq presario CQ60 laptop does not power on until i remove the battery and insert back after about 20mins before it will finally power on.Can anyone please give me an idea of what the problem is?

    Have you tried using another battery to see if the problem remains?

    Try pressing the power button down for a few moments while the battery is out, plugging the battery back in, and pressing the power button again to see if it starts.

    I don't know what causes this, but it works for some models.
