    Hello all!

I wanted to ask if it's possible to install windows 7 on this old laptop.

I upgraded this old rig to the max. it's running with 2 gigs of ram, a new hard drive and all that.

However, right now it's running winxp and feeling sluggish.

Will windows 7 install on it with no issues? are there any driver concerns to worry about?

    thanks in advance,

    Fox.

If it has 2GB RAM i don't see any issues that could arise. I installed Win7 on my mom's old P4 with 1GB RAM and it runs fine. I even found drivers for ye olde Radeon 9250. So nothing wrong in the driver department. Oddly enough, my mom's PC seems to run better than with the XP that used to be on it. Either Microsoft really did a nice job on Windows 7, or it's the "clean install" feeling.

Are there any drivers to download other than the ones windows 7 finds automatically?

    thanks
