The most powerful graphics card in a consumer HP/Compaq product is the Nvidia Go 7400. :( You have to go to the business line to get something faster and they have two machines that offer the ATI x1600.

HP agreed to replace a replacement notebook they sent me because the graphics card wasn't equivelant to the x700 in the Compaq they replaced initially, but they literally had nothing more powerful (graphically) to send me. I was able to have any machine in the consumer line, they can't cross-over to the business line of notebooks when doing consumer replacements :(

    Catch up HP!

Yeah it is pretty sad what HP/Compaq has to offer right now. I have the x700 card in my Compaq v4000t. I got this laptop just before they switched over to the new models. Lucky me. :D

Well, HP sells multimedia laptops at most, not specializing in gaming right now... Maybe in the times to come..
