    HP Compaq nx6115

    Has anybody here had any experiences with the HP Compaq nx6115 business notebook before? Or is there a review for one? A review for this specific model is really hard to find on Google; all I found was for the nx6125? So, I'm wondering if anyone's used this notebook pc before?

    I couldnt tell a lot about Nx6115 since I don't own one. However, I work on a Nx611x last week due to virus problem. I can tell you my impression on this machine:
    1, Screen is really bright and clear. No dead pixel whatsoever. It looks much better than my Nc8230
    2, I believe the lid cover is not Magnesium alloy. But its quite rigid. The material used around the keyoard area is like regular plastic.
    3, I couldn't locate the volume button. It only has two USB ports and small firewire connection.
    4, The battery of nx611x is located on the back of the notebook. It makes the notebook fall back

    its a pretty solid notebook with a very very nice screen

    It's a new model, which is why there aren't many reviews. However, the case looks pretty similar to the nx6110 series. The only difference between the two is that the nx6115 has a Turion processor and a x300 graphics card (shared memory, though :().

    The best deal I could find on the nx6110 was at tigerdirect.com ($600 after rebate). The nx6115 starts at $800 on hp's small business website.

    The 6115 is basically a defeatured 6125. The 6115 only comes with a ML30, 4200 rpm drive, max ram of 512mb, no bluetooth, no fingerprint reader and one year warranty.

    I have a 6125 and am very happy with it. Case is made of very sturdy plastic. There is no flex anywhere on the case. The black solid case is similar to IBM in build quality. I would rate the screen average, nothing special. It is bright enough but can not be compared to the brightview screens. Keyboard is pretty good. The touchpad has a scroll feature. Bad thing about the touchpad is that it makes a loud clicking sound. It can be turned off by muting the volume.
