Looks good but the GPU choice for AMD CPUs is becoming insanely rediculous. ATI 1150? I haven't heard of it but according to its name it should be around the level of x200. X200 was OK a 1-2 years ago, now it's simply inadequate and basically turns this laptop into a 2 ghz powered typewriter.

yeah, but windows vista will matter and if now it requires at least x200 to run Aero glass, we can be sure that future Service Packs and the like upgrades will bump the system requirements. Further, most business people who need 2ghz dual cpu for a business laptop will want to put it in use. Excel does not need that much but some graphic design program for example does.
Many HP business notebooks with Turions use ATI x300 with dedicated memory. ATI 1150 with shared memory seems like a step back

From what I understand the ATI 1150 is supposed to be something on the order of 33% better than the x200, which would put it about on par with an X300 dedicated.

4GB DDR2 RAM support is nice to see. Overall this notebook has excellent features. The occasional Guild Wars gaming and alike would be OK with some restrictions to the graphic settings. But not for hard core gamers.

33% faster, and 4 hours of battery life.... I think HP looked at the market, most people wanting the max battery life over a power-hungry GPU. Most people not wanting to play games (Yes I know about "Vista", and CAD programs)... and yes it's "nice to have a powerful gpu...
