hello all.
i have a V3030CA. i have the whining noise problem (see : http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=85477) has anybody have experiance with returning HP gear and getting thier money back. this was bought in september and ive been trying to research, contact HP and fix this. RM clock and the USB fix do not work at all.
im not happy at all with HP at this point and im wondering if anybody had experiances with this and will HP refund my money to save me telling them i will never buy HP gear or recommend anything if they dont and they have lost another customer.

yes......i have. i tried the USB root hub fix and RM clock and both of them together.

hmmm, well sorry i cant really help you because i dont even have an hp laptop! ... im getting mine soon though...

Hp wont accept returns so easily, I believe they only consider replacement/refund only if he laptop has been sent to service more than 3-4 times. Its not a guarantee that they are going to give you a refund but if you are willing to stick with them long enough you might get an exchange.

so they are really tight about that huh? Is there even a point to try to call them and harass some case manager about refunding my money as i am unsatisfied? what happened to the days of customer satisfaction........
