    HP DM3, how do i disable the F1-12 functions and make them F buttons again

    I wanna game and its hard for me to hold fn and then press F1, is there anyway to disable this?

    Also is there a way to disable the touchpad??

    I think there is an option in the BIOS, try it.

    when you boot up look at what it says before windows starts. I forgot otherwise I would tell you but I think you hold down something like escape.

    yes, hit the ESC key when you see the ... SETUP .... message flash up (gotta be quick), then change that one setting on one of the BIOS setup screens - careful not to mess anything else up!

    - WHY do the manufacturers keep messing with our keyboards?


    To disable the touchpad, go into the Windows Control Panel.
