From the reviews that I can find, the 2 biggest cons I see for this are:

    1. Intel graphics.
    2. Plastic body

I'm not a gamer and want to run linux, so the Intel graphics is a plus to me.

The 1600 x 1200 screen and portability of this model has me interested. I also want the i5 instead of an i7. I don't think I would notice the difference between them 90% of the time. I'd rather have longer battery life and less heat.

I'd like to hear what others have to say, especially if you have run linux on one. My current thought is to dual boot by swapping drives!! I want to put a SSD in it, so I might just order an SSD and install linux on that drive. If I ever need to call customer support, I can put back the original drive and run windows for the call. I don't really need to dual boot, since I never boot to windows on the dual boot machines I've had.
