HP DV series remote?

I notice when looking for a replacement remote for my DV6-1355DX that didn't have a remote when I bought it used. I located the service manual for a DV5-1235DX and the DV6 of which own and they list them as two very different part number? Is there a reason why I must order a part number matching the remote part number for my dv6? I did check on ebay and saw at least two buttons on the top row were different compared to the OEM or matching part number of the HP remote for the DV6. Just visually the DV5 and DV6 didn't look different by much but they have different part number or is that just some number that HP did so they could charge different rates or is there some kinda technology difference for the two different part number?

 

So anyone with either a dv5 or dv6 could they tell me or give a screen shot of how different each of the two are from each other?
