I have a dv2000t notebook with the bluetooth/wifi built in. Whenever I am using the battery, the internet connection becomes unsteady and dies after 5-10 minutes of use even though the battery still has lots of juice. When the power is from the socket though, everything is fine.

This is my first wifi notebook, but I would imagine this problem is not normal 'cause otherwise having a wifi notebook is pretty useless if you always have to be plugged into a wall socket. I am wondering if it would be any better with just wifi on -- but I don't see any options of turning off bluetooth. Or perhaps if I turned off the HP bluetooth/wifi and just bought a wireless adapter card for my notebook, I would get a more stable and lengthy wifi connection...?
