I have had my HP DV2500 for about 8 months and while relatively pleased with it there are a couple of problmes.
The main issue at the minute is the fan noise. When I got the laptop I was pleased as it was relatively quiet but now the fan is on alot. As I write this the only application I am running is Firefox and yet the fan is very loud and the laptop is quite hot. Any idea why this is? Is it just dust in the fan and if so what is the best way to clean it?
Also, numerous times when I shut it down, it shuts down and then starts up again. It is been doing this for a long time and I have no idea why. Sometimes it shuts down fine and then others is shuts down, restarts and then shuts down properly. On occassion it has not shut down after 3 attemtps and restarts... Any ideas?
