This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP DV2500T camera prob with Acer Drivers

    I installed the acer drivers as mentioned in another thread on this board and everything worked great. Quickplay, Skype, no problems. Then at some point over the course of the last week, it stopped. I only get a black screen in quickplay or skype. I've uninstalled the drivers, gone back to the HP ones and that can't even turn the camera on in quickplay. Reinstalled Acer, back to black. Only thing that's installed over that time has been Vista updates. To say I'm at a loss is a large understatement.
