Hi. I'm going to buy a new notebook soon. I've done a ton of research, and have narrowed the decision down to two: the HP DV4000 and the Compaq V4000T.

From what I have seen on the HP site, these two computers are almost exactly the same when it comes to features. I've found plenty of reviews for the DV4000, but can't seem to find anything about the V4000T.

Is there any reason I should pick one over the other. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Both are bascially the same computer except for the case and the fact that the DV4000s come with the Quickplay feature, letting you play DVD movies and music without booting to Windows. You can also get it with an optional remote that controls dvd/music playback, powerpoint presentations and powers on/off the notebook.
