My HP DV4t hard seemed to get pretty warm under the left side, so I decided to check out the hard drive. To my surprise, the hard drive was covered by a giant black label/sticker that peeled off. Should I have left it on? I have never seen this before. The entire face of the hard drive was covered. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Did it also cover the HD vent?

It was attached to the hard drive thus covering the vent as far as I could tell. It covered the entire hard drive though.
