This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     HP DV5 backlit keyboard replacement on one that didn't originally have it?

    I just bought a DV5-2138CA and it comes with one of those horrid bilingual keyboards that isn't backlit, I'm planning to replace it with a US standard one but I was thinking that since I'm replacing it anyway I could replace it with a backlit keyboard replacement.. I know the backlit keyboards require an additional connector, does anyone know of the non backlit keyboard DV5 models have this connector?
