    Hi all,

I'm now considering to buy a notebook basically for desktop replacement. There are 2 models I can buy with my student offer:

    HP DV5
    P8400, 4G DDR2 RAM, 9600M(512M), 250G HD, 15" 1680x1050, 2.65kg, vista home premium
    Price: ~us$1115

    A6210
    P8400, 2G DDR3 RAM, ATI 3470, 250G HD, 15" 1280x800, 2.97kg, vista home basic
    Price ~us$1090

The price/performance for HP looks better (at least the display card), and it has the remote for playing media.
However, I've heard that HP notebooks are always hot ... and while Fujitsu seems have less negative comment and it is made in Japan.

Could anyone give me some advice?
    Thanks!

HP dv5t if you want better performance, cheaper price (once the next coupon comes out).

A6210 if you want cooler laptop and more reliability.
