    Any1 know how to turn off the touchpad on a DV5000?

    For my DV4000, I can turn it off in \Control Panel\Mouse\Other. Mine uses ALPS driver. If yours too, it should work.

    on my dv5000 i just go to control panel/mouse/device settings/disable.
