I'm listening to my Zune software and whenever I press up or down on the hp volume buttons it jumps around from loudest to softest, ***? And I'm currently using the ITD software that came with the computer. Should I just get rid of the IDT?

Haven't you made a topic like this before? Anyway, press the stop button on the quicktouch and then try changing volume again.

No I don't believe I've made a topic like this before. If I did it was regarding a dv6500t. After restarting it twice, it works.

Ok... did you try pressing the stop button? This usually fixes it. It's a heat related issue it seems. It starts when the laptop starts to heat up, then people state t hat pressing the stop button works to fix it.

No, I didn't press the start button. I only restarted it.

It's the stop button, and try it next time instead of having to restart every time it acts up again.
