Hello there HP owners i have had my HP dv5t for quite sometime now. It has been working like a charm up until today, my mousepad all the sudden seemed to studder in function. It would only move up and down slightly in one spot. Now i don't normally use a mouse so rely completely on my touchpad for any gaming related activities. In my opinion i wore it out to the point it refused to function anymore however when i restart my computer it works fine for about 5-10 minutes and then dies. I was told it could also be a heat related issue since this laptop runs quite hot which i expect since i game with it. i bought a cooling pad from best buy but it doesnt seem to do the job right i was looking between getting a
