i just received dv5t with vista 64 bit. i have couple of issues:

    1. battery doesn't show remaining time, only shows the amount of charge left.
    2. when i use the sound slider to change the sound, it doesn't make the chiming sound.
    3. when i scroll continuously in a window, there is a sound that comes.

can anyone help with these issues?

    thanks!

    1. Battery time I believe is an HP thing. Have to go with percents.
    3. I'm getting that when I work in the start menu, kinda weird. Sounds like it's reading off the hard drive.

how to get the sound chiming thing to work and also, is there a setting i can change to get the battery remaining time? i don't think hp can totally control that since it is windows system.

and this scrolling noise is really annoying!
