I recently buyed a Dv5t at sams, it was a good deal for 1000dls. My complaint is that it has the intel GMA X4500 and Blu-ray. You cant even get that in a custom built in HP web page! Blu-ray plays fine but sometimes lag, whats up with this, how could I got X4500 and blu-ray?

Have you tried updating your drivers?

The x4500 should be powerful enough for bluray playback.

yes, but my question isnt about the playback, it is how could I got a blu-ray drive and X4500 if you cannot do that in HP.com

Maybe the problem you're having is the reason why it's not possible to get the Blu-ray drive with the X4500 from HP.com.

HP makes different variations of certain models to sell at specific stores. It happens that the one at Sam's has the options you got.

It also happens that this is not a customer configurable custom system option when buying direct from HP. That's what it comes down to. End of story.

But, yes, you should update your drivers for the x4500. From Intel.

HP probably figures that anyone who can afford Blu-ray can afford a decent GPU. It's not technically required though I generally recommend buying a dedicated GPU for Intel notebooks if you're going to anything that can stress the GPU. Sam's can make HP configure anything they want I suspect.

I agree. It's generally only a few bucks more, but you get way better performance.
