    Hello

    maybe i want to buy hp dv6 (that model comes with 650m gpu)

    i want to know is gpu overclocking (almost maximum possible clock) safe for hp dv6 (with 650m gpu) ?

    i'm almost worry for oc'ing the gpu of that laptop because i have heard this laptop have overheating issue

    I doubt you'll be able to do much overclock at all. I have a friend with the dv6-7000 and his GPU starts throttling at stock speeds even repasted if he playes demanding games.

    Hi,
    You ain't going anywhere with OC'ing the DV6-7000 series! I have the 650M model and LORD DOES IT SUCK AT OC'ing! You run into thermal issues, BSoD's, and more. Trust me, if you want to OC then you don't want the DV6!
