Hi everyone.
Recently my HP Dv6 has been getting louder and I've noticed that the temperatures are reaching 70 degrees (see below):

I've updated the bios and drivers etc, tried disabling fan always on in the bios, but the fan still runs all the time and the bottom gets very hot. Is there anything else I could do? Should I contact HP? Is 70 degrees normal![]()
I have the newer HP models (aluminium one)
Thanks

Try blowing the dust out of the fans using some compressed air.

Looks like compressed air worked (I hope). Temps are down to 50-60 degrees and fan not so loud / hot now. Thanks!

Is you computer idling at 70 or is this while you are doing mildly intense things? If you are doing things, then you are totally ok. While gaming my temps reach around 85C.
You should be fine. -
I was only surfing the web and listening to music when it reached those temps, so something wasn't right. Seems to be ok now, although the temps could still be better.
