    Hi all!,

I just bought a refurb dv6 1030US and it's making a crackling/static noise from the speakers every time I click a link on a website..............any thoughts as to what the cause of this problem is..?

still makes noise with headphones plugged in and with or without ac plugged in it doesn't make a difference

    thanks in advance

I never had this problem but i remember reading this fix,see if it works.
    Control Panel/IDT Audio Control/Settings/General/Preferances.....
    Then UNCHECK "Enable Power Management"
Let us know if it works
