    hi,

I think windows 8 is either coming out the end of 2012 or next year, I have a the consumer preview on a dual boot with windows 7 at the moment and its not great. I have problems with beats audio and the mouse pad acting up.

I wanted to know if I got windows 8, can I make it run with full features smoothly (beats audio/HP software, mouse pad etc ? Can I sort out the machine

Will all drivers from HP and keep the DV6 the same way I got it when I first bought it with windows 7. Its hard to find anything on the HP website and my model is not even listed

I hope so too, my machine is only 1 year old but windows 8 is a mess. The finger print scanner doesn't work either.
