Looked at the HP DV6 today at circuit while browsing liquidation sales. Looks like a nice laptop. 16inch screen is nice, looks like less vertical screen but web pages look nice. Whats everyones thoughts on it? Just a DV5 with a bigger screen?

It depends on whether you prefer a wider but shorter display. Personally, I would not want to give up almost a half inch of screen height vs. my 15.4" dv6500t.

It's low for my taste, like 1280 x 800 on a 15.4. I would prefer at least 1600 x 900, but it's a matter of preference. Go to the store and try for yourself, and also take a look at the Inspiron 15 at best buy for $650. They're both good deals. Although I will say HP's bloatware is less of a nuisance to get rid of :p
