so i got my laptop, it's brand new and i am loving it/.
one bad thing is the recovery discs, i am having problems with them

so i used a TDK DVD+R (i have 3 of them) and 3 are needed.

    the first one went well.
the second one, i was trying to fix a scratch on a screen but i accidentally hit the cd release button and it said "Error has occured"

so i knew it was my fault, and regretfully, i had to put in another 4.37 gb dvd again, and i did/.
this time, the Writing went wel
and the next step (i think it was making sure the disc was correct_)
it was at 96%, then turned to 100%, released the dvd, then all of a sudden, the same error message comes up.....

    so anyone know what happened?
or did the 2nd recovery cd actually work okay.
but that cannot be as when i start the disc creator again, it prompts me to make cd 2.... but i do not want to waste another dvd again, so i came here for hel[p..
    thanks guys~!!

HP only allows you to make 1 copy of the recovery disks. So make the DVD2 again to be cetain you have a working copy. DVD are cheap.
