    Hello,

I have the opportunity to change my current laptop (two and a half year old Dell 1520 with Core 2 Duo T7250, 2gb ram, nvidia 8600m gt 256mb dedicated ram, 250gb hard drive and running 32bit vista home premium) for one of the two following laptops.

Do I keep what I have or do I change? If so which do I choose, please take into account the relative specs and the manufacturers (build quality, reliability etc.).

The first laptop is a HP DV6-3000 with core i5 450m processor, 3gb ram, amd mobility radeon hd 5470 512mb dedicated ram, 500gb hard drive and windows 7.

The second is a Toshiba Satellite A500 with core i3 330m processor, 4gb ram, nvidia gt 330m 1gb dedicated ram, 500gb hard drive and windows 7.

I use the computer for some word and excel, emails, lots of surfing (mainly reading forums like these) and playing some games. These are mainly oblivion, never winter nights 1 & 2 and dungeon siege 2 but I would consider buying some new games along the same lines if the right one came along.

I expect to keep the computer 2 to 3 years so please also consider this.

    Many thanks
