    Hello,

    I have a hpdv6000 and have fixed the graphics card 3 times and see that the chip is at 140degreesF while browsing the web... How do I increase the fan speed? I have tried speed fan

    The fan isnt coming on..... even after a few hours of web browsing... could it be dead? Or is it software

    Does the fan spool up when you boot the computer
    if no the fan is probably dead. 140 f is not that hot
    my dv9000 would run 190 f before it died
