I have a HP DV6000 series laptop running on Windows Xp. A few weeks ago I notice that my power button wasn't turning on my laptop, and my speakers won't work. Last week I came up to this video on YouTube that had the exact same problem I had. So I bought a new power button ribbon on ebay and installed it. But the power button is working correctly, on the other hand the speakers keep skipping, like when I play a video the sound is not smooth. So I had to adjust the sound from high to low constantly for hundreds of time to make the sound work correctly. Do any of you know whats the cause for this and how to solve it?
