    Hi There,
I'm experiencing some weird problems with my NB. First was the wireless that stopped work. After a while everything goes fine but windows started to restart without any reason.

Now the bad news. The NB does not boot anymore. I turn it on, all the leds are on, i hear the sound of the DVD drive, but nothing happens after. The screen is all black.

After a while 30 seconds i think the NB restarts and the again nothing happens.

I already openned the memory and HD case. The memory looks fine since it worked at another NB, the HD i couldn't test until now, but i think that is not it. I tryied to turn the NB at another monitor via RGB cable with no sucess either.

Someone experienced a problem like this? Any way i can follow now?

    Thanks in adv.
    Fabiano

It could be a motherboard or graphics card problem. Both are expensive, and the graphics card is motherboard mounted. Are you still under any sort of warranty?

Had a similar problem with my new DV6500T.

Remove the laptop battery. Remove the back plate over the memory. Take out the memory. Take out the battery on the mother board. Replace the battery, replace the memory, replace the main battery, try rebooting.

I think something gets whacked in the bios and the only way to fix it is to remove the battery on the mother board.

This happened to me, fortunately I was under the warranty. The hp service center had to replace the mainboard. Look like the problem was that something broke in it.

Sounds like your mother board is dying
