I'm thinking about getting a HP DV6215 from Futureshop in Canada. Here's the specs: http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?sku_id=0665000FS10084212&logon=&langid=EN#
Any thoughts?

It's a noce notebook for the price. There are plenty of reviews of the dv6000. Without knowing what you plan to do with it, it's kind of hard to help.

In Canada, the dv6000's are on their next cycle.
dv61xx were from last year (XP).
dv62xx were from the end of 06, start of 07 (Vista)
dv63xx are just coming out now.
All the same dv6000 shell. Just different configurations.
Bestbuy.ca has quite a few models

The dv6315 is actually cheaper and appears to have a slightly faster processor than the dv6215 -
You can get this dv6119us refurb from futureshop.ca for $699. You can get the extended 2 year warranty, upgrade the RAM etc and you could save quite a bit of dough. HP factory refurbs should run like new.

I picked up a 6215 at FS a few weeks ago and I really like it.
Go for it while it is on sale...
