I have been almost pulling my hair out trying to fix this problem to no avail.

Anyway, my card reader does not read ANY SD card. I've tried about 3 of them. I don't have any other card type so I can't test that yet. I have all the latest drivers for the card reader. In device manager, I have a yellow exclamation point sign and I get an error code 10 that the device cannot start. I hear the plug n play sound whenever I insert a card into the card reader but it never shows up in my computer.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Just install the previous driver. Rollback it or download earlier from HP. This usually helps.

There is no previous driver. And I have the SD card fix installed for Vista. Still no luck. The card will work if I put it into my camera, and use the USB cable but it won't work with the card reader :( :(
