Basically it's not any problematic situation here. Recently my cousin has bought that notebook at local shop... price was great and she loves the styling... She also has 42" lcd hdtv with hdmi port (philips one i believe)

My question here is like this - having gone to the local retailer I found hdmi cables with 2 sets of cable connectors (even though i thought there is only one) - either female-female or male-male. here's my problem - which one should I get as the christmas gift? Which one will work to send the signal out from the notebook on the big screen? you know having the possibility to watch dvds or games on the 42" 1080p tv should be more entertaining than on that small 15.4"...

Please any quick response would be really appreciated!
