    Hey guyies,
I have a problem with my screen for my laptop. When it boots and i log into windows, after a while the screen blinks for like 1 second. Then i can start operating my laptop fairly fast but it seems pretty slow until the screen doesnt blink. Does anyone know why that happens?
    Thanks

This could be a number of things, but offhand I'd suggest checking the msconfig startup and see if you can remove any bloatware. Since it runs fast after you finally get past the boot it makes me think you have garbage loading that's slowing it down until its all loaded. You can also update your video drivers to see if it improves performance.

the blinking sounds like a symptom of nvidia drivers (if that's the GPU you have). Perhaps try a newer graphics driver from laptopvideo2go.com?

I see something similar on my XP desktop!
I believe it's to do with XP's initialization. Probably nothing to worry
about. Not sure if Vista does the same thing.

Mine does the same thing, I have the latest official drivers of NVidia installed and I checked it with Laptop2Go drivers too, the brightness control from Windows Mobility Center disappears while using those and I don't think the said problem was gone.

Your laptop is still starting things up when you are trying to run things thats why it is slow. Did you do a clean install when you first got your laptop? Also make sure you don't have spyware on your laptop
